The Duties of a personal care attendant include daily personal care of the student who has a disability that limits one or more life functions. The daily care may include but is not limited to: hygiene maintenance, bowel program, showering/bathing, dressing, in addition to assisting with meals and housekeeping.
Duties include assisting students with research projects, typing, and other academically related tasks.
Duties usually include reading text directly to students, or reading and recording text on tape.
Duties include assisting students in studies in a wide variety of subject areas. Persons applying for tutoring positions will be required to provide proof of academic success in the subject areas in which they will provide services.
